All content that I have created on this blog, is owned by me. If you wish to use the content on this blog, you must retain the watermarks on the photographs and provide a link to the original blog post as well as contacting me asking for permission. If you have sent me an item to review, then you can use the photographs and review in your marketing as long as the work is attributed to me, with a link included to the relevant post(s) and all watermarks remain. Receipt of products does not guarantee a favourable review. My reviews always include my honest opinion, regardless of how the product was obtained.
This blog is a personal blog written and edited by me. Most products on this blog I have paid for myself, but I occasionally receive products from organisations or individuals for the purpose of reviewing. All products sent to me will be reviewed in an honest and sincere manner. I am not a qualified nail technician, beauty therapist or dog trainer. Therefore, all reviews, advice and opinions are my own, based on my own experiences. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer or provider. This blog does not contain any content which might present a conflict of interest. Here are the different categories of posts:
These are sent to me by the brand, or a PR company on the brand’s behalf. These are disclosed at the top of each blog post with “Press Sample”. On Instagram I disclose at the bottom of the caption using “press sample” or “PR Sample”. I try to review everything I get sent and always do so in an honest way, even if it means putting the brand off side. Press samples make running a beauty blog much easier as I don’t have the funds to buy huge amount of things to review, but companies tend to only send me items one time only so there’s no benefit to me when I give an item a positive review, and I am not willing to compromise my integrity for free product.
This blog contains affiliate links. Affiliate links are currently the only source of income that I make from this blog, and they don’t even cover the basics of running this blog. Any money I make from affiliate links goes into purchasing items to review for you in future. Affiliate links will be disclosed at the top of a blog post with “affiliate links included” or at the time of the affiliate link with (affiliate link) next to the link.
I have not accepted money to write a blog post or post on social media, but if I did, it would be disclosed as “sponsored post” at the top of a blog post or at the bottom of an Instagram post. I have been approached by multiple companies to do sponsored posts but they are for products completely unrelated to this blog or for items items that are not cruelty free. For me to accept a sponsored post, I would need to already love the product and the company would need to align with my values. I value my the trust the my readers have in me, more than money, so any sponsored post would still be my honest opinion.
If you have any questions or items you would like me to review, please contact me at email@example.com
