Nails

A collection of my nail art and nail polish reviews.

Just a quick post today as I want to share my Easter nails with you. I used Grace-full Nail Polish 1000 Yellow Daisies as the cream coloured polish really reminded me of Easter. I haven’t been well enough to paint my nails since Christmas so I’m a little rusty, but it’s a lovely nail polish so I still wanted to share it with you.

Easter Nails with Grace-full Nail Polish 1000 Yellow Daisies

Grace-full Nail Polish 1000 Yellow Daisies is a white based crelly with gold flakes, tiny gold holo glitter and iridescent glitter. I applied three thin layers plus top coat in my pictures.  This polish is inspired by the TV show Gilmore Girls – in particular Lorelei’s Dream proposal that max made come true which included 1000 yellow daisies. I bought mine at the Aussie Indie Con last year but it is still available to purchase on the Australian Grace-full website however it is a part of the ‘There She Goes’ collection which is an exclusive collection for Grace-full fans in the Facebook fan group – you can join the Facebook fan group here and then you can purchase the nail polish on the website. I would normally do some sort of nail art on top, but I really enjoyed wearing this polish alone.

I love 1000 Yellow Daisies so much that I mentioned it in my Cruelty Free Hair Care and Nail Product Favourites from 2017 blog post. I hope that after I recover from treatment in October that I will be able to paint my nails more and share my favourite Aussie indie nail polishes more regularly with you. I still have a few blog posts coming up about cruelty free natural makeup so stay tuned for those. You can sign up to email updates to get my future blog posts sent to your email, or you can find me on social media – Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. Did you do any Easter inspired nails?

Now that it is April, I have to admit that Autumn really is here in Melbourne. The days are getting colder and the leaves are falling off the trees, so I thought I would do some falling leaves nail art to match. I show a lot of Australian indie polish brands, but there are also […]

A question I get asked all the time is: “Is Nail Polish Vegan?”. The short answer is no, not all nail polish is vegan, but the majority of it is. If you’re looking for vegan nail polish then you will probably also want it to be cruelty free as well (not tested on animals). I’ll […]

Happy Valentine’s Day! I don’t really celebrate Valentine’s Day, but I love all the nail art that is done for the occasion. My Instagram fills up with pink and hearts – two of my favourite things. So of course I had to do some cute Valentine’s Day heart nails too. I chose to do white […]
