Wotnot facial wipes are the best wipes on the market. I have tried so many brands but none are as soft and gentle on my skin as these are. Wotnot are an Australian, environmentally conscious, company who specialise in natural products. Wotnot are cruelty free as they only test their products on humans and all products are vegan except the sunscreen that contains beeswax. You can read my previous post on Vegan and Cruelty Free standards in the Beauty Industry if you want to know more.
There are two versions of the Wotnot facial wipes, the pink packet is “suitable for sensitive skin” and green packet is “suitable for oily/sensitive skin”. The sensitive skin version contains certified organic Aloe Vera, Rosehip and Sweet Almond Oils, to repair, hydrate and reduce inflammation within the skin. The oily/sensitive skin version contains Pink Grapefruit, Petitgrain, Papaya and Rosehip to gently cleanse, hydrate and help to regenerate the skin. There are no alcohols which can dry out your skin, or products that will block pores.
Because these wipes are natural, they don’t have added fragrances, which means the scent of each type of wipe is new to me. Both versions smell organic and they’re not at all offensive but it is a different smell to that of the chemical products that many of us are used to. They are the softest wipes I have tried and are biodegradable and compostable – I love products that don’t harm the environment.
I usually use the sensitive wipes in the morning and oily/sensitive wipes at night. There’s no real reason for my routine, I just like to do it that way. I don’t use waterproof mascara so I can’t comment on the claim that the wipes are able to take it off but they have been fine with all the makeup I have used to date. Some makeup wipes only take the top layer of makeup off and when I go to cleanse my face I get makeup on the towel but Wotnot aren’t like that, all my makeup comes off easily in one wipe. I think they may have also benefited my eyelashes because of the included Rosehip oil. I usually lose large chunks of lashes due to illness, but this last year I have had far fewer fall out.
I have been using the Wotnot facial wipes for a year now as they don’t irritate my very sensitive skin and the company values appeal to me. I love to buy products that are cruelty free, vegan, organic and good for the environment.
Have you tried Wotnot facial wipes? Do you think you will try them in future?
