The theme for this AN Monday just gone was “Sandy Claws” otherwise known as textured polish. Seeing as it was the first of December, I decided to do a christmas theme. This is my very first go at doing a dotticure (manicure with dots) but it didn’t turn out too badly considering I had shakes when I was doing them.

To do this mani, I started with three coats of Zoya Godiva. Godiva is one of my favourite polishes, it’s a lovely neutral colour on me and as with all original Zoya Pixie Dusts, the texture is nice and fine. Then using a dotting tool I did dots with Powder Perfect Decorate A Palm Tree (Green) and Beginning To Look A Lot Like Xmas (Red). I tried to make it a gradient where there are large dots at the tip of the nail and the dots get smaller and fewer between as the dots go towards the cuticle. I think I will need more practice using the dotting tools so that the gradient is clearer next time. Powder Perfect Decorate A Palm Tree is from last years christmas collection and is my favourite polish. When topcoat is added, Decorate A Palm Tree come to life and has so much sparkle. Powder Perfect Beginning To Look A Lot Like Xmas is from this years christmas collection, and like Decorate A Palm Tree, it can be worn as a lightly textured polish, or as a sparkly micro glitter if you apply top coat. I really enjoyed wearing this manicure and I got 4 days wear with only light tip wear which is fantastic for my nails.
